How is it May?!


If you feel the time lapsing as fast as I do, you're likely a bit frazzled (I am). You know what helps with what I call the frequency flu? Read on…


I think of the layers we humans have – the mind’s conscious, subconscious, unconscious – and the body’s muscles, tissues, bones, and fascia – and wonder just how much information I have stored in my body. So many layers, so many absorbed memories and body transformation from my 59 years on this blue planet. I could be minding my own business and boom, a childhood memory – boom, a pivotal memory – boom, a person I haven’t spoken to in years in pops into my head and then gets in touch with me. Happiness, regrets & pain, joy, sadness, it’s all in there.

All in me.

All in you.


Besides being in our mind and body, I believe these layers surround us, a universal consciousness that lives in the ethers. Think of it as a bridge between the spiritual and physical worlds. It’s actually called the etheric layer, but we won’t get into that now.


I’m sharing a few modalities that help bring my energy back to center, to this very moment. I admit, it’s no easy task, but I keep on trying!


Sound and vibration. I can't say enough about what this practice has done for me. I became involved during covid and quickly fell in love. It balances my energy, grounds me, and literally lifts the icky out of my skin and floats me away to a space where I can exhale, and where I know everything is going to be okay.

I mean, eventually.

Maybe not this very second.

But it will be.

Cause now I'm floating.

And the energy is moving.

And the frequency is changing.

Reiki – any reiki is good reiki – whether you do self-reiki or schedule an appointment, reiki works.

Period.

Whether you feel it or not in a physical sense, it levels up your energy.

Reiki works.

Period.


Daily grounding. This doesn't have to be any sort of fantastic ritual or time consuming. It’s about feeling into your physical body.

How?

Glad you asked.

Imagine getting pre-dressed, like pregaming.

Now step into your physical body like it's a comfortable and soft fitted layer of skin.

As your feet slip through the leg openings, they connect with soft earth, sinking in and stabilizing.

Grounding, energetic, protective.


Journaling - this does not have to be time consuming either. I text myself thoughts or worries and I've found when I hit the send button, it releases the worry. I forget about it in a noticeably brief time. Shameless plug – join us Tuesdays! Free Tuesday Evening Journal Circle - Jodi Blase


Exercise - not my favorite because this is where time feels short, aches and pains creep in, I’m tired or just not feeling it. I do make space for daily movement and weights because my body needs to process what's stuck as much as my mind does.

And your body really does keep the score (that’s the title of an informative book, by the way).

Your body has your back.

Literally.

Treat it in kind.


Talk to a human daily – Oh my God, just say hi.

Ask someone how they're doing.

Reach out.

A two-minute conversation can turn your frown into a smile!

Contrary to the hermit mentality that has crept into our space, people need people.

We need smiles, words of encouragement, human connection.

I get it.

But you’ll feel better.

Really.

Sound Bath at The Hearth in Wilmington

WHAT TO BRING:  The floor is lightly padded. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat, pillow, blanket, and if you can’t lie on the floor, bring a chair so you can create a fully supported, cozy setup.

Free & Weekly Tuesday Journaling – or painting, or doodling, or gazing (Virtual)

I've heard from a few people that they haven't joined because they "can't write" - so let's open this up a bit. This may be called journaling time, but it's really YOUR time. You can write, draw, paint, do a puzzle, or enjoy any quiet, creative activity. Whatever feels good to you. You might find quiet reflection, a little clarity, or just feel more relaxed and at ease. It's a chance for your mind to take a break from the "squirrel brain" energy and simply slow down.

No sound. Just space. This is about giving yourself a pause.

Here's what this is not:

An unsupervised therapy group. We care, but this space was intended for a different reason.

Camera on or off. We'll take you however you want to show up!

Sharing, discussion, expectations

Here's what it is:

30 minutes just for you - to slow down - write, draw, paint, watch the candle burn - breathe.

A space to unwind, release and reset.

Being present in a group energy that has nothing to do with judgement, performance, or expectations

Here’s what to expect: A candle is lit. We mute our audio.

We write, draw, paint.... followed by a gentle close to the session.

About me: Jodi Blase is an author, Reiki Master/Teacher in both Usui and Lightarian Reiki, a Holy Fire Master, an advanced practitioner in Akashic Records, certified in singing bowls, and is a written and conscious spoken channel.


Also: That wasn’t the “all of me”. It’s the me pertinent to my modalities, the one that looks put together and valid because I have certs. The “real” me is someone who strives (really, I do) to make the world a better place, is a bit or a lot cranky depending on the day, has always been psychic, and astral travels without trying, finding herself in timeline shifts in the middle of a perfectly normal day. I do what I do because of my own anxieties. And I want to share because others have shared with me, and I want you to have a starting point. The energy of the world continues to affect me, and if you’ve read this far, it’s affecting you too. Because we are all one consciousness. That’s the me. I’m you, too. Just over here. (That’s the woo, your choice to go with it or not).
